Music animation

 I have decided to look further into the idea of stop motion by looking at time lapsing. This is very similar to the white board animation in the sense that it is breaking the forth wall as you can see the artists creating it. I like the concept of this a lot, as it works like a narrative as you can see the development in a sense that tells a story. With this particular piece it makes it very clear to see the link between audio and visual, by including the notes from the music in the artwork, this linked with the time lapsing to make the note appear as it is being played makes this a very appealing piece of narrative animation.
This work has made me start to consider what (if any) form of narrative my animation will be based. A theorist on music videos claim that all music videos fall into narrative or performance catergories, so it will be interesting to look into a performance animation next.
